I got this idea from my friend, Jennifer's blog. It was a fun idea, so I wanted to do it as well! Wednesdays blogs will be dedicated to "words of wisdom" for Lucas Lee.
Lucas Lee-- " We know the love that God has for us, and we trust that love. God is love. Those who live in love live in God, and God lives in them." (1 John 4:16)
Luke, always trust in God and the love He has for you. Love God through the storms and the sunshine. In the picture above, you were 15 hours old. Always remember:: God, Daddy & I loved you first. You life was planned through our love we had for you and family. We have been praying for you since the moment you were conceived and the very minute you were born baby.

My 2nd words of wisdom-- You were born a Red Raider! No matter what you do in life, we will always be proud of you! But, when it comes time to choose your college-- I want you to look back at this picture and remember how cute you were as a 1 week- 5 pound Red Raider!!! So, if you want to follow in Mommy&Daddies footsteps and graduate from Texas Tech-- we will always support that ;)

Lucas is going to make a great Red Raider someday. :) Thanks for the sweet words on my blog post...we appreciate the thoughts and prayers! Hopefully we will run into you guys again this football season-it was great seeing you at the bowl game!
