20 Months!

Lucas is 20 months today!!!

I cannot believe we are just flying through the months right now. The past 4 months have seem to have just sped right past us. Luke is growing up more and more everyday! I love his little legs when he is running...it reminds me he is still just a little toddler to mama&dada! I love the way he says "mama mama mama" when he wakes up&wants out of his bed! I love the way he gives the BEST hugs&kisses ever!

Some of the things he is doing:
- He has been sleeping in a big boy bed for the past month! (he is like me...he hates being restricted and confined& so he absolutely hated his crib)
- He still eats whole wheat pop tarts and bananas for breakfast! But his 2nd favorite is eggs, cheese and strawberries
- He likes to build forts in the house and crawl through them
- He loves painting! He will paint for 30mins straight and be sooo happy!
- He loves puzzles
- He is going to be a musician lol- seriously! He now has his own drum set, keyboard, piano, guitar and harmonica. He pretty much plays music about 3 hrs combined everyday. I have now invested in the Sams club tylenol. (ya know the huge bottles lol that comes in packs of 3)
- he is talking in 3 word sentences
- he has a hard time saying his "L's" which is ironic since thats what his name starts with lol. He usually just skips it all together and says "Ove (love)" or "side(slide)" , etc etc. I am not worrying about it to much at this point bc he is still so young. I think it will come to him.
- He loves to help w/laundry & vacuuming
- He sleeps at night from 9pm-7:30am (I love it!)
- He had his 18mon checkup last week-(i know 2 months late) and he was 27.5 lbs and was in the 60% across the board pretty much. Which is HUGE because Luke has always been in the 25-30% but he has grown a lot lately! The only thing that has consistantly stayed in the 75% was his head lol!

Lucas is a loving, sweet,&hyper little boy! He is realllly busy all day long and likes to go go go. He only settles down when he is napping or sleeping pretty much. He is very dramatic with his expressions and I love that about him! Lucas is the definition of love! Justin&I thank God every single day for blessing our life with our little man! Happy 20 Months sweet Lucas!
